Ezra takes every opportunity he gets to climb on a tractor.
I think I won't send Ezra to college. I dread tuesday mornings. That is trash day. So it of course happens to coincide with my child waking up unusually early yelling, "Mom, Dad! The garbage man is here. Come get me!" And since he is an only child, Jeff or I roll out of bed mumbling profanities, get Ezra, and take him outside to wave at the trash man and garbage truck. So, Ezra is bound to be a garbage man when he grows up, I don't feel a college education is necessary for his destined career.
Jeff and Ezra enjoying the early morning trash man. On recycle day another garbage truck comes around later. . .it is so awesome.
Most kids sleep with teddy bears. Ezra sleeps with a Bobcat (to those of you not at my current level of tractor expertise, a bobcat is a small type of skid-steer tractor). Every night. When Ezra asks me where Daddy is and I tell him Daddy is at work, Ezra responds with, "Daddy making money to buy me a bobcat?" and because I am a good parent I say, "yes honey". And I don't mention anything about all the plastic surgeries/vacations/new cars/yacht and clothes I want. Sometimes when I am feeling more honest I tell him, "Yes daddy is working to buy you a bobcat, and because he married a beast of a wife who thinks she is a Beverly Hills housewife".
One day Jeff rented a bobcat. It was the best day of Ezra's life. Apparently since I am not investing in Ezra's future education, I am not investing in any clothing either. Nothing says classy like a pair of camo shorts, no shirt, no shoes.
In Ezra's hands are the bobcat and chocolate milk that go with him everywhere. The bobcat is currently missing. . . I am worried about bed time tonight. If you see me at Walmart around 1 a.m., disheveled and raking through the toy isle, you will know how bed time is going without the bobcat.

Hilarious! Ezra will have to come work in the bees, there are lots of tractors and such for him to enjoy. I love that last pic of Ez, he looks so handsome and grown up.
