Skiing!

I have been so excited for Jeff and Ezra to go skiing together this year. We finally took him on Saturday. It was really fun. Ezra loved it. On Monday he was asking Jeff if they could go skiing together. It is so fun to have a happy son who loves the things his dad does, and to have a dad who is willing to spend the day carrying his son all over the ski hill.

The boys all ready to go. Ezra was so excited. We bought Ezra a ski helmet. Lets just say. . . he wears the smallest ski boots they make. Head size is another story. He wears a youth small. Not a children's small- those didn't even get close to fitting him. A youth small, not x small. Small. The ski shop was having a good time fitting him for a helmet. Let me also just mention. A youth helmet is a lot more expensive that the children's helmet. Hopefully Ezra has something in that huge head, because it is costing us more money to keep that gigantic noggen protected.

The start was a little rough. The rope tow was a little aggressive and flattened Ezra. Jeff felt horrible. Ezra had a bloody nose for a while, but was still up for skiing after a chocolate milk brake. There was quite the blood trail from the lift over to where I set him to get him cleaned up and every time Ezra would ski over it he would say, "Wow look! That is my blood. Dont step in it guys."
